Walking to inform and change.
We learn from experiences, not text books. THINK Global School is the worlds first traveling high school, living in 12 countries in 4 years while studying the IB Program. However, our main initiative is to learn HOW to think, not WHAT to think. Through this we have recognized the importance of sharing what we have learned from seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, or tasting first hand, and World Wide Walkers is our product of this experience.
Every two weeks during the academic school year an “issue” will be released. It will consist of blogs, videos, photos, essays, or graphics related directly to our explorations. In some cases, we discover dilemmas around the world and will share information and guidance on how to help. Our mission is to share what we learn from this unique opportunity and change the world in positive aspects; whether we support an organization, reflect on community service, or work towards breaking barriers between people.
Our school is comprised of less than 50 students with over 20 countries represented. Our peers are a resource for perspective and travel is the outlet to share these resources. These views are apparent and meaningfully shared through WWW to develop a forum for considerate conversation and intelligent information.
