I am proud to introduce you to the WorldWideWalkers Issue #4 covering a vast array of topics in Contemporary India. We have worked tirelessly all semester to deliver to you not only informative articles about Indian history but also great infographics and digital creations.  We have provided a quick glimpse of Indian history in our previous three issues and are happy to close our India chapter with an update of current issues and events. The students recently split into groups to study different regions of India and took weekend trips to Srinigar, Goa, Pushkar and Calcutta. They spoke to locals, experienced cultures, and participated in events as new as adventure canyoning and as old as the Pushkar Camel Fair. Upon their return they scoured the internet to find the best resources possible to provide you, our readers, both a stimulating digital creation paired with, what I hope to be, a well-written historical essay. After posting Issue #4, the students and I will be gearing up for a two-week intersession in Tanzania, and after holiday break, we will re-convene in Hiroshima, Japan.  I want to personally thank you for reading and encourage you to stick with us in our travels and to open a dialogue with any of our student writers.
